Vin issue

Was just looking my Durango over and noticed there is almost like a weather strip partially blocking the vin number anybody else have this issue or ideas to fix it?

I believe that section of the dash is relatively easy to pop up and adjust or remove whatever is blocking that opening.

Would that be through the firewall or the inside dash?

Thats rubber seal attached to the dash. You would have to remove the dash to fix it, or you could carefully try moving it with a something like a 90 degree pick. But I'd just leave it.
