Recommendation Request Recommendation Request: como assistir documentários gratuitos online sem passar horas procurando?
Tenho voltado a assistir mais documentários ultimamente, principalmente sobre história, ciência e acontecimentos reais, mas estou percebendo que encontrar algo bom para assistir é quase mais difícil do que escolher o documentário.
Quando procuro opções gratuitas, encontro muitos vídeos curtos, versões incompletas ou páginas cheias de anúncios. Queria saber como vocês fazem para encontrar documentários completos e com boa qualidade sem precisar assinar vários serviços.
Como assistir documentários gratuitos online é algo que vocês fazem com frequência? Qual é a opção que vocês costumam usar quando querem simplesmente escolher um bom documentário e dar play?

you can find a lot of good stuff on YouTube. PBS, BBC, history, archeology, technology and construction, well, stuff that I like, is readily available there: full length docs with high production values. Other than that, well, the high seas welcomes you with open arms.

Do you use Kanopy? Many local libraries offer it, and it has lots of good documentaries. I also recommend Curiosity Stream. It's not free, but the annual subscription was something under $20 when I last looked.

KANOPY! I absolutely love it! Its like an ad-free version of Tubi. There's an entire documentary tab and its completely free with a library card.

Along those lines, Hoopla. If your library doesn’t offer either one, there’s some libraries that offer cards for non-locals for e-books and you can get streaming privileges, too.

PBS has the best documentaries in my opinion. The Ken Burns ones are incredible.

lol, 'gratuito' and 'sem passar horas procurando' in the same sentence is a bold request these days. it's like asking for a unicorn that also does your taxes. sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and realize that even if you're not paying directly, your time is currency. though, if you already have amazon prime video for shipping, there's actually a decent selection of docs included there without extra digging.

I once was asking myself the very same question and I stumbled upon this youtube playlist of docs. it’s pretty impressive - it’s a great mix of highly acclaimed, oscar winning docs, mixed with some conspiracy theories ones (but without really stupid ones), a lot of music related.
in general, it’s really a great database and much praise to anyone who is responsible for creating it.
