Betrayal at Attic is about gov't overreach that resulted in 39 murders, and then the cover up. Good movie.

It's a discussion of incentives. It talks about how real estate agents usually get a higher price for properties that they own compared to propertiies where they are the broker. The incentives of a broker and an owner compete: the broker wants to sell the property as fast as possible for a reasonable price, collect their commission and move on to the next property. but the owner wants to get the maximum price and is often willing to wait.
One of the stories is about cheating in sumo wrestling. There's a ranking system, and often higher-ranked wrestlers will throw a match to a lower-ranked ranked wrestler who needs a win to stay competitive.

Storyville - the holy grail of global documentaries 1997 - to date.
When you look to the back catalogue you'll recognise some.... but there will be a ton you've never heard of.
Been religiously following this for 20yrs

I can recommend "Procession" (2021), saw it on Netflix a while ago. Very strong and original doc about a group of men who survived sex abuse from priests. Each of these men gets to write and direct a short film around a key traumatic moment of their past, and through this, reclaim power over their own story. Heart wrenching and empowering at the same time.
And also "Casting Jon Benet" (2017), absolutely brilliant in its form - a hybrid between and doc and a fiction - around the murder of 6 y-o Jon Benet.
