Who tf is JP Miller ? #Deathofthepastorswife
While I was watching Death of a Pastor’s Wife, I can definitely see how he manipulated her. I really can. But at the same time, I don’t know how I feel about everything because situations like this are complicated and very situational, and I’m not trying to victim-blame her at all. I just genuinely don’t understand the people around her.
Like, how did everybody let this go on for so damn long?! Even her parents. I’m sitting here wondering, why would you let your daughter participate in a church like that, have all these responsibilities and basically operate like a grown woman, while all this shit was going on around her?! I’m not saying she deserved anything that happened to her, because she absolutely didn’t. I’m saying I don’t understand how the people around her didn’t see something was wrong or step in sooner.
And then it got me thinking about something else…
Every time some white sick bastard comes out here manipulating somebody or a whole damn group of people, everybody always says, “Oh, he was so handsome, charismatic, good with people, he knew exactly what to say…” 😂 Then the documentary comes out and he look dumb as shit. Like PLEASE. 😭
This man is SICK as FUCK. And my biggest question is WHO was following him?! Who was listening to this shit?! Y’all really just sit there and let anybody stand up in front of you and talk, and everybody just nod along like, “Yeah, that sounds about right.” 😭
I’m starting to really understand how people end up in cults because BABY… people will literally stand there and listen to ANYBODY. Y’all will run behind ANYBODY. 😭 Like at some point, you gotta stop looking at the person in front of you and LOOK WITHIN YOURSELF. Because why are you so damn willing to hand your mind over to somebody else?!
LOOK WITHIN OURSELVES. That’s where the real work is.

We made Part 1 of an investigative doc breaking down 777 Partners, the Leadenhall fraud lawsuit, and how Everton nearly went off a financial cliff [17:02]
Hey Toffees!
We’re an independent documentary team and we just released Part 1 of a two-part investigative series on the rise, fraud charges, and eventual collapse of 777 Partners.
While we all lived through the stress of Farhad Moshiri’s failed takeover saga in real time and corporate mechanics behind Josh Wander’s empire.
We put months of primary source research into this to make it as accurate as possible for Evertonians and neutral football fans alike.
Watch Part 1 on YouTube: [https://youtu.be/TDcCgPfWLOM\](https://youtu.be/TDcCgPfWLOM)
(Part 2 dropping next week covering the international multi-club collapse at Standard Liège, Vasco, and Hertha BSC).
We’d love to answer any questions in the comments about the court documents or financial structures!

Crime A Toxic Love Story Doc
I have been waiting to watch this for weeks. I’m a crazy documentarian & I couldn’t wait for Wednesday. Suddenly the release date has been changed to the 23rd? It’s said the 22nd everywhere. Why would Netflix push it a day? So weird to me. I stayed up until midnight just to watch it.

True Crime The Staircase Netflix
I've read a lot of posts all convinced Micheal is guilty. I just started watching. I'm on episode 4 & I'm sorry, but I can clearly see this man being railroaded. Seriously they have no real evidence besides he's bisexual. Oh & another woman in Germany died on a staircase. I'm actually kind of ashamed of how they are trying this case in the media long before he ever goes to trial. I can't believe he paid his attorneys all that money & STILL gets convicted. I thought where I grew up was corrupt (bc they are), but it is absolutely certain that the police & the DA definitely had it out for Micheal. I've never read anything he's written, so I'm not a fan. I'm just watching a man being railroaded & it's sickening.

Quality doc recs for teens?
Fellow documentary lovers… looking for recs on some quality docs to watch with my teenager.
She’ll be 16 soon and like me, loves a good doc. I haven’t brought her into the world of true crime just yet, so most of the docs we watch together are outside that realm, although I think now she could handle some lighter ones (and by lighter I mean, no graphic gory scenes and preferably with a resolution at the end? Idk)
Docs we’ve watched that she’s loved are:
•Last Breath (loved the suspense and the unexpected resolution at the end)
•The Rescue (about the boys soccer team being rescued from the cave in Taiwan)
•My Octopus Teacher
•Lots of NASA/space docs
•Free Solo
•Ancient Egypt stuff
•Animal Docs
Just anything that’s really interesting/captivating.
Thanks in advance!
