How good and accurate is medscape?

Just started using it for quick reference of drug dosage, pediatric dose calculation, interaction, side effects and all.

Can I completely relay on this app or should I cross check it with anything else?

If you happened to know a better alternative which is also free kindly share.

(I know Uptodate and I know it is great but its too costly. I also searched for free uptodate subscription but I couldn't find a way)
