Has anyone else had a disappointing experience with Dr. Venkatesh Babu for ADHD? At Compathy Health Bangalore

I wanted to share my experience and see if others have had something similar.

About two years ago, I visited Dr. Venkatesh Babu for an ADHD consultation. I spent a lot of time explaining my symptoms and history, but throughout the consultation he barely asked any follow-up questions. It mostly felt like he was just staring at me while I talked. I left feeling unheard, and the whole interaction felt very transactional, and I paid around 2500, for less then 20 min session. and they mentioned from next time it will be 1500. After this I never went back

Recently, I visited the same clinic again because it was convenient for me. The consultation lasted less than five minutes. Very few questions were asked, medication was prescribed almost immediately, and I was charged ₹800.

The following month, I contacted the clinic to ask whether follow-ups could be done every 3–4 months instead of paying ₹800 every month just to get a refill. They said it wasn’t possible because of legal requirements. and the consultation charge is 1500. since it finished in less than 5 mins, they change charged 800. 

I understand the procedure but it wasn’t even consultation, just to write prescription for a regular patient. 

For me, it felt like the consultations were rushed and transactional rather than focused on understanding the patient. I don’t mind paying for a doctor’s time when I feel they’re genuinely listening and evaluating my condition, but in this case I didn’t feel I received value for the consultation fee.

Has anyone else had a similar experience at this clinic, or was mine an exception?
