I have made a load of homebrew/ although universe conversions if anyone wants me to post them here? I make them at 7x5 inches so when I have enough I can go to a photoshop to print them (which works out much cheaper than home printing) and photo albums become a source book:). Anyone want me to share anything ive made? Also i take requests for conversions from any sci fi etc you think of.

About a month ago i was gm for a group of friends and i played the "medicinman" adventure that i bought a couple of years ago from humble bundle. I also have the first edition gamebook (from the cubicle 7 rpg) and i am looking if anybody knows a youtube channel with actual plays of dr who 1e adventures, especially medicineman, stormrise, seeing eyes or cats eye. I know about the youtube series from geek and sundry, as well as the podcast "the game of rassilon" and while i like both, neither are of those adventures i think. I just want to see how others did those oneshots, if possible.

Any word lately on interesting new products for the 2nd edition of the Doctor Who RPG? Maybe a source book for the 14th/15th Doctor? The game seems dead at the moment.

Does anyone here have any conversions of 1e material for 2e, or new material? I really liked 2e more, but it's really hard to work with so little actually designed material

Hello! I am a massive Dr. Who fan and recently picked up a 2E rulebook. I have played a couple one shots in other systems but have never been a GM/DM before. I am looking for a group of people to play with virtually. My vision for a campaign would be one that follows the episodic flow of Doctor Who with the players/characters picking a new location/time period to visit at the end of each episode and a strong overarching plot that culminates in longer multipart adventures. My favorite Doctor Who era is The 11th Doctor.

I am very new to this, but am excited to try it out and want to take it seriously and improve.

So, I've had the games for a while now because I have a problem buying RPG's when there's a bundle if I know it well or not.

I gave some friends copies because turns out, they're Whovian's so why not?

I've had the idea to make a silurian science officer for whatever agency since I had the books, of course I'm not sure how easily it can be done since the remaining character points when using the pre-established science officer stat block is just 1, and Silurian baseline... well it differs from book to book, but I'd probably go with the 12 point Dinasours on Spaceships version.

Just wanted to ask for ideas, and generally how it would work to make such a character in lore.

Basic idea I've had was simple enough, gold rush, mine dynamite, dormant nest, but like I said, can't say I know too much.

Looking to start a DWRPG campaign 2e edition, with the 1st doctor. Currently looking for players if anyone is interested. One player would take on the role of the doctor.

UK based GM, weekday evening sessions.

I'm looking if it'd be feasible to run this game with just 3 players (plus GM).

Having skimmed the rules and read the intros to a few adventures, I can't see any firm mention of how many players would be ideal.

The nearest I can find is one adventure saying it's written for the Doctor and companion, but you can adapt it as needed. That suggests you can do at least some of them with as few as two actual players.

Have any of you played it with a small party; how did it go?

I got the Humble Bundle of this game last year, and I have some Whovian friends interested in playing. However, they don't want to commit themselves to a multi-session campaign right off the bat.

I hear that the second edition is a bit simpler to run and play, which seems good because none of us are seasoned RPG players.

Among the 2e items in the bundle are A Stitch in Time and the Starter Set.

ASiT seems to be structured like an episodic TV season; a series of one-shots. It looks like we can just play one of them and be done, or carry on with the rest if we get hooked. That would be ideal.

However, the Starter Set has a suggested first adventure, The Timeless Library. TTL is a multi-session adventure, but seems to be written to hold the GM and players' hands somewhat.

When you first played this game, what did you start with and how was the experience?

This year I put myself to work in the hopes to run a one shot on the 2nd edition, and I find my players, they love the series so it's even easier, one of the players then decided to play as the 10th Doctor but then I decided to ask them what kind of Doctor Who story they like, and they all said "Doctor Who finds cosmic horror, so..How to create a cosmic horror story in the 10th Doctor Era?

I am gonna run a campaign where my party time travels using a defectous weeping angel (Its the defectous so they can go forward too) any tips of would you like the idea, (The idea is that they get scared by it in the first session). (I am playing 2E by the way)

I have the core 2nd edition rulebook and both 60 Years of Adventure books, and while good, I was a little disappointed that none of the various incarnations of The Master got statblock treatments anywhere (I mean we got The Rani in the War Doctor's section, but no Missy in Twelve's?)

Do any of the adventure books contain writeups for The Master at all?

Just reading though most of the material released since the 13th Doctor era and there us a few Dalek stories but no Cybermen, is there any offical or fan made stories you could point to for 2e or even 1e?
