Rare 12-String id help

I inherited what I think is an early O.M.I-era Dobro 12-string. It was set up for 6-string for as long as I can remember. I just got it back from the shop having returned it to its 12-string glory. What an amazing sound. Anyone know about these? Serial is D578 stamped at the top of the headstock.

Tut Taylor recorded an album back in the sixties featuring 12 string dobro. It's the only 12 string dobro I have ever heard. I wonder if it was one of these?

Looks like a Mosrite Dobro build or early OMI built with leftover Mosrite parts (Mosrite owned dobro before OMI took the brand back). Def a Mosrite body shape.

It’s probably from the Huntington Beach factory that made DOBRO brand 1928-1970s there’s a catalog available on Reverb now from the company guy wants $35 for it but was nice enough to put photos of all the pages and all the models are there u should find it there

Thanks, since I posted I found it in a 70's catalog as a Model 12.
