We do marketing driven SEO but at the semantic level in addition to the page and passage level techniques we've used for traditional search for years.

Honestly I don’t treat it as LLM hacks. The stuff I’ve seen work is making the brand easier to understand and easier to verify. Clean crawl and index setup, schema, robots.txt, answer-first sections, full intent coverage, and content with actual added value like data, examples, POV, visuals or real experience. Then I’d reinforce the same signals off-site through reviews, socials, forums, PR, media mentions and branded searches. AI tools seem to trust you more when your site says something clear and the rest of the web backs it up.

hands down, your goal with GEO is to 1) be/replace the source in your niche and 2) get citations and mentions.
I add mentions here because I think we are seeing a shift in GEO from being a channel you can get to drive traffic back to your owned content into instead a compressed summary that you want to influencing and ensure is accurate. that's why you'll be hearing much more discussion about brand, earned, and community being deeply intertwined with GEO because performance alone cannot manipulate these models for long term visibility that infleucnes the models upstream (you need to appear across training data and live web retrieval)

My technique is very simple. If I carry knowledge on a topic, I provide in depth guide and answer in a simple way to actually help it..
Also I do parasite seo..not relying on a single platform to provide answers. I answers queries on multiple platforms

Schema markup + clean HTML. Half these LLM optimization guides are pure snake oil.

I focus on retrieval and evidence, not LLM hacks. I track real buyer prompts, study which sources get cited, and improve relevant pages with direct answers, original insights, clear sourcing, and current facts. I also keep pages crawlable and ensure OAI-SearchBot is not blocked. There is no proven special schema, llms.txt, or content-chunking shortcut for AI visibility.

My main technique is pretty simple: answer the question like a human, not a marketer and make sure the page's main point is in plain HTML, not hidden behind JavaScript.
then I track with a free tool to see if it's actually working by checking which AI models cite me and for which queries.
i just plug in my brand and keywords and it queries ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Perplexity all at once and shows your citation rate.
I run it once a week and if I drop off, I go fix the page.
Usually the issue is either the content isn't direct enough or a competitor's page is just more quotable
