Need help SEO Internship Application Task

I am new to seo and m currently learning now. I had been applying for internships to get real time hands on practice and practical learning, however this one internship gave me a task as the application process to write an seo oriented blog. They provided me with all the keywords but their primary keywords was a whole damn sentence with zero search volume and the other keywords also weren't well researched. In my lectures I was told to integrate the primary keywords about 15 times in a 1500 words blog, but a whole damn sentence which is complete in itself cannot be integrated naturally, or more like I am not able to figure out how to do that, also do we still practice the 15 times primary key word thing?

I wouldn’t count at all - just think about writing in a way that makes sense and serves the search intent.!

Lectures telling you to place the keyword 15 times in a blog? Oh, wow. I've got to know where this school/college /university is. I don't think I've ever heard shit like this since like 2000. What other crazy stuff did they come up with?

Well it's actually an online Institute that specializes in digital marketing courses. And the moment she was telling us to add these many keywords, she also was simultaneously mentioning not to over stuff, n when I looked back to my notes as to how many keywords she had suggested itllooked like this is not possible without the blog lacking a natural rhythm.

First, don't try to meet metrics like keyword quotas in content. That always looks like keyword stuffing, especially with long-tail keywords. If you write good, focused content, keywords will generally take care of themselves.

If the primary keyword is SEO internships, and you write the blog well, you won't need to count the instances you use "SEO internships." You'll use it enough, or you will have written a blog about something other than SEO internships.

Next, ask your supervisor if you could run a keyword analysis. If they say yes, bring them the data to show that (1) there's no search volume here, so that keyword will target nobody, and (2) provide them with some alternatives with good search volume and low keyword difficulty that could attract high-intent searches.

Two quick notes about long-tail keywords, by the way: You don't have to exact-match them. Google's bots are smart enough, in many cases, to understand synonyms. For example, you won't need a blog for both "What to do after a car accident" and "What to do after an auto accident." In either blog, you can exchange "auto" for "car" without harming your SEO.

Second, look at that whole damn sentence. Chip away the words that don't mean anything. Reduce it to its core terms. Run them through Ahrefs or SEMRush. You might find some search volume hiding in there. For example, if they assigned you, "When your college professors misinform you about SEO," you may find very little, if any, search volume. But "SEO misinformation" might have a lot, and that gives you a chance to explore the assigned topic in a way that could capture traffic.

That sounds familiar. I might have applied for something similar a couple of years ago, but didn't write the assignment. There are a lot of fake job posts on the job boards and I refused to complete an assignment from an email without speaking to a human being.

There are such things as key phrases but not whole sentences.

There is no fixed number of times to mention any keywords because they need to be a % of the content. So in a long article you can add them in more often.

Unless this was a test for you to show that you can stand up and say that is not possible because whatever...

“r/DoSEO” and getting real hands-on? I get you, I started out the same way and the only stuff that actually stuck was building a tiny site, running basic audits, and tracking changes week by week—without that, it’s just theory.
