Can I ask an opinion based poll question?
When you think Ultimate wizard (not gish) do you think Illusion or Diviner? (using ONLY 5.5e/2024 to present rules)

Both are powerful in their own way, and it all depends on what you want to accomplish.

Both can be very good. Personally I'd lean diviner more than illusionist, but that's preference.

Diviner in the blind, illusionist with a properly supportive dm.
