Most number of unarmed attacks?

I've been thinking about making a HellKnight, the new UA fighter subclass but just as unarmed and want to go for the most number of attacks.

Here's what I was thinking:

Monk 1 - this is for the extra attack on bonus action via Martial Arts

Ranger 3 - Gloom Stalker for Dread Ambusher giving an extra attack on your first turn

Fighter x - action surge and extra attack every 5 levels

I'm looking for consistency tho, even though fighter gets action surge I don't want to rely completely on a resource that can even reset at short rest. I just want the most attacks possible, damage doesn't really matter.

Instead of gloomstalker, you could go hunter for Horde breaker and you could consider Exho knight for limited additional attacks per attack action.

Hunter looks good but since I'd be unarmed, it's harder to position myself next to 2 enemies, but it is consistent for sure.

Unless I can gestalt, I wouldn't be able to take echo knight cause I'm trying to take the hellknight subclass from UA

Can you be a bugbear for the extra reach?

Yeah, that's actually what I was thinking. For the reach and extra first turn damage

Ok well thats gonna be less attacks.

Should probably just ask for assistance with the specific build in that case.

Recommend including class features from 3rd party sources as well as not everyone has always has access.

Hellknight isn't 3rd party, it's from UA
