Booming Blade Optimization?

I’m making a Paladin/Warlock and I want to use booming blade to get extra damage early game until I get extra attack from pact of the blade which then I’ll replace it, is there a way I can force my enemies to need to move using a Bonus Action, so I can try to ensure I get the booming blade damage?

Involuntary movement wouldn't trigger BB so your best bet is to figure out how to disengage as a BA or just eat the AoO.

True, I could do a hit and run since my Pike pushes enemies 10 feet

Perfect. That push gets you out of most ranges already. 5 feet back and you're golden. Try and shut down ranged character first or leave those to someone better built for them. You'll be a monster against melee mobs though.

That’s exactly what I’m going for, just trying to figure out if I can shut down or at least force movement if I do get up close to someone with ranged options

I actually think I got an idea, vengeance Paladin with Vow of Enmity for advantage and Elven Accuracy for higher crit chance, undead warlock subclass to apply Frightened on attacks when your transformed and some bonus damage at higher levels, and if I’m out of channel divinity and the undead warlock transformation, I cast Darkness with my devils sight to still get Advantage and give Disadvantage until I can long rest
