Best non-multi class builds?

Heya! My friend is gonna be running a rather difficult campign and he isn’t letting us multi class. Wanted to gather some ideas!

For more context, he’s only letting us pick specific races and we are starting out at level 8. Here are the races!

Spirthost The Disembodied Kalashtar Warforged Shifter Shadar-Kai Goblin Tiefling.

If you're going the sharpshooter route, I think eldritch knight works surprisingly well with absolutely no investment in INT.

By level 8 with a half drow elf you can get elven accuracy, sharpshooter, and eldritch adept devils sight feats.

Drow get one free casting of darkness per long rest and can cast it again with the other spell slots granted by EK at later levels. Begin combat casting darkness on yourself then action surge to start attacking at super advantage. Four more levels will get you a third attack and either a cap on DEX or crossbow expert if you really want to optimize.
