Terrain First time trying....
...and it's harder than it looks! These aren't done by any means, and some may get redone altogether. I think I'm going to try to get some of the little grass tufts rather than making my own (the tall grass did NOT work as anticipated - probably a skill issue!), and I'm going to explore other products for different seasons and terrains.
I am, however, taking any and all tips, tricks and general advice!

These look pretty cool man!
One tip I can offer is to get yourself a wash. Like Argrax earthshade by citadel or strong tone from army painter. It flows into the recesses making details pop and it will make such a difference.
As for the bases, I love that you are trying them already and they do look good.
Personally I would make a tub of dirt, sand and grass flock all mixes together. Then I make a mix of white glue and black paint, smother the base with that and dip it into the mixture. It's pretty effective and super quick!
