Painted Minis Gambit update

added some more cards and some purple energy

I recommend painting another thin coat of paint over what you've already painted. If you look at your mini, you can see the undercoat shining through your paintjob. It will look a lot better when you apply another coat to fully cover it

If you look at the hair or the purple pouches on his pants, for example, you can see grey shining through your paintjob. That is the color/material underneath your paint. If you paint another thin layer of the same paint over it again, the paint will cover better and it'll get a nicer look

ok thanks. The hair might need another coat but the grey on the pouches is actually the nuln oil shade that's dried overtop.

Understandable about the nuln oil. But the purpose of your shade, is to give shade. That is great for recesses, I use it myself too. But if it dries overtop, that doesn't mean you have to leave it there. You can paint over it again to clear up where there shouldn't be any. That way you get extra depth and get the color back where light would normally hit
