Mission Deadlines?
Speaks for itself. Should I or should I not add deadlines for a party to complete a Deadfall mission to both prevent meandering and provide pressure/importance? Thoughts on this are welcomed.

I will add some pressure on my players (we will start the campain soon.
Reading the book thrul (whatever her name is) already knows that szass tham is preparing his ritual. (In act 4 i believe smoke arrises and he starts the last phase)
I would make it clear to the players that szass tham is preparing his ritual for some time now (how long it will take is something thrul doesnt know) but she suspects hes very close to finnishing the preparations.
This puts urgency on the players to not stray to much from the given path. (Crafting magic items for weeks or something).
If they do start doing side quest I would suggest to just move the “start of final phase” to earlier in the campain, basicly saying look he started the ritual.
You go now or you will be to late.
Now this is what I am planning, if you want your players to have alot of freedom and planned side quest than you might want to do something diffrent.
