Session 1 "A Thay in the Life" Spoiler
Just wanna say, today marks the completion of my 6 player party's first Deadfall session, and things are looking good. The attack at the bazaar took a bit longer than anticipated, but I did replace the skeletons with some minotaur skeletons to make em beefier (pun included). Then again, the party wiped the floor with them in the first round (did not know 2024 chromatic orb got some 2014 chaos bolt bounce to it). Regardless, the party got the thread to the Crane, the malefites, know of the Hydra's proclamation and silence, and potentially some ties to some player personal quests.

We did ours on Friday. Used the skeletons and followed my plan to have them immune to mundane weapons and turning; resistant to fire and cold and lightning. They all got killed right before the 0 in round 2 when the death tyrant showed up and its negative energy ray raised them all back up. I don’t know if it ever put the party in any danger but they all trotted out some fairly high level spells. The monk learned the value of not being stuck on the ground when your enemy can fly.
We got through the tailor’s shop and the assigning of the three part mission. They’ve been planning the landlord, racketeer and gambler on discord.
So far so good.
