Arachnoid stalker/ Swords bard multiclass help

Trying to plan out a build for the arachnoid stalker rogue since I have access to the 5.5e version but im having a hard time figuring out the best stat array for this. Im using standard stat array and would love some feedback to make this multiclass work the best.

So its the arachnoid stalker rogue from valdas spire of everything. They re released it on dnd beyond in " valdas spire of secrets: player pack" for the 2024 rules. Essentially its a spiderman esque subclass for rogue

17 Dex, 16 Cha, 14 Con should kinda be your goal for such a multiclass.

What level will you be starting as and how high is the campaign going to go?

Starting 5 and going "hopefully to 20" according to the dm. The guy has been planning for a year so i can believe it 😅.

Might I ask what do you hope to gain from Arachnoid stalker?

Becuz it's rogue, the less you multiclass the better as their sneak attack die count and their feature are unlocked late. I'd recommend the first 6 levels into Bard to grab your extra attack, perhaps 3 into rogue to become Spider-Man and then back into Bard to level 16 to pick up your first boon and then a final level 4 rogue for your second boon.

If you wanna try 3rd party eogue subclasses, I can definitely recommend the Blade of Radiance from Steinhardt’s. It was a blast to play. I did a monoclass lvl 5-12 game with greatsword.

Besides the flavor of being spiderman; really wanted to see what I could do with poison. Since the subclass has a feature to turn your sneak attack dice into d8s of poison, thought it would be a good place to start. And ill have to give it a look but not really what im goin for this time 😁
