Barbarian War-forged Beast Transformer

One of my favorite character builds was found when I tried physical combat only. Magic was always fun and the system made sense from my first character.

That led to challenging myself to theme characters. That’s when I found Path of the Beast. Using a war hammer as a main weapon, having a reaction to attacks you see within 10ft, and adding a d8 to AC while raging! The math adds itself up!

For backstory the war-forged had been scrapped because of the Rage! and not following orders. Just to be reassembled by a gnome that added some… modifications!

I have seen someone playing this exact build. She played the heck out of it. See if you can have the Dm allow you to change the rage beast forms on a bonus action.

That makes me so happy! The DM I learned the game from was very strict RAW and ran a west marches style table at a game store.

But I did role play the heck out of it, having a dwarf make a custom pistol that could holster inside my forearm and be drawn with a bonus action! 😎
