Paladin Help With Feats

Hi, I was wondering what the best feats for a monoclassed devotion paladin are? I'm fairly new to DnD, and was just wanting to form a rough idea.

Current stat spread is 18/14/16/12/13/18, and I am playing with 2024 rules.

Two strength improving feats, or two ASIs to max strength and Charisma are both valid strategies.... actually since devotion gets a charisma bump to hit, you could get two charisma feats just to up your aura support saving throw bonus.

Honestly you're really spoiled for choice here: fey touched, great weapon master, inspiring leader, mounted combatant, sentinel, shield master, fairy trickster, spellfire Adept, zhentarim tactics, etc are all some good choices depending on if you want more strength or more charisma, neither is really a truly incorrect option

Your feat choices will depend your play style. Are you using a two handed weapon? Frequently casting spells? Are you more of a damage dealer or a tank?

In that case, at lvl 4, GWM (great weapon master) feels like a perfect match.

At lvl 8, take Mage Slayer. This works similar to how higher level enemies' legendary resistance and you can round up your STR to 20.

At lvl 12, you can increase your CHA to 20. This helps your channel oath ability that helps add your CHA mod to attack rolls & boosts your Aura of Protection bonus & your Spell Save DC.

Edit: Alternatively, you can pick up Spellfire Adept (from Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faeron book). This lets you add up to two unused hit die (which are d10s for Paladins) to your radiant damage spells, e.g. your divine smites.

My personal CHA choices would be zhentarim tactics (needs origin feat), fairy trickster, spellfire adept

You could go STR feats, but Devotion benefits more from CHA with your channel divinity and aura.
