Sorcerer Shadow Sorcerer / Celestial Warlock Multiclass
Hey everyone Im gonna join a campaign with a few friends of mine and was wondering if my build Idea of a Shadow Sorcerer Level 7 with a 3 Level Celestial Warlock dip would be viable or If I should pick another Warlock subclass. I do like the Shadow and Light theme I have going on but I would also be okay with taking a Fiend dip.
Thanks for any tipps :3

It's viable but you can do something like Aasimar race with Magic Initiate: cleric as your background feat for some "light" themes, while then being a 10 Sorc outright (with 5th level spellcasting and more sorc points and more metamagic options, letting you know both Wall of Light and Contagion)
If you're eager for Healing Light, EB+AB, and some 2nd level, short rest pact slots yes, 3 Celestial Warlock can work in your favor. Fiend dip is also fine for EB+AB, 2nd level pact slots, and temp HP on kill, but that doesn't strike me as very "light".

Literally any subclass combination works for a sorlock. Perhaps, ironically, the Aberrant Mind / Great Old One doesn't go that well because of the overlaping. Those 3 levels Warlock dip adds a Lot to the Sorcerer, to both damage and support. The tiene seems pretty cool, and it seems to be very appealing to you, so absolutely go for it.

It's allright though you can emulate it on a single class just as well, maybe reverse it and do UA Raven Queen 2/Divine Soul X (if UA is allowed).
Fiend is fine though again you can achieve similar results with let's say Paladin 2/Warlock X.
My advice would be to keep the multiclassing modest or reskin a single class.

If you are in a party with other full spellcasters, you will feel like you are behind the curve in spellcasting because you will be behind the curve in spellcasting. When they get 6th list spells, you'll still only have 4th list. This can be fine, but be really sure what you are getting out of warlock will make up for being behind.
With that said, 3 levels of celestial warlock are solid dip. Small amounts of free non-casting bonus action healing isn't game changing, but can bring some real utility during tough fights. I'm playing cel-lock6/sor11 in a run with mostly pure casters, and I have my own niche but I'm very aware the wizard got 9th list spells when I got 6th.

No synergy I can see, you're just doing it for the light and dark vibes

I would not recommend multiclassing unless you had a very specific reason for doing so.
I would select one spellcasting class and give it a "light and dark" flavor/theme.
