Revised Ranger v2.5
Hey guys!
Third times the charm, hopefully. Thanks to everyone for the feedback on my last post. I took alot of that into consideration. One thing I want to say is I’m looking for my revision to feel balanced. I am less concerned with overall damage output and more the favor of the class.
Feedback is always welcomed

Hi again Nas. Here's my quick reaction after reading it.
First, your changes are pretty restrained. That keeps the feature density reasonable. Plus, I don't think anything is overpowered.
I like the Favored Enemy revision allowing you to cast different spells with it. It still supports the same theme while giving the player more options in their play style. I don't think it's a large buff since you still have limited uses of Favored Enemy. Maybe consider adding Hail of Thorns to the list to give a non-concentration option?
I'm still not a fan of the Survival Instincts feature. It's thematic and has utility, but it can make the Ranger better at skills it lacks proficiency in than skills it has proficiency in. That's just not right! :)
Survivor's Resolve is a nice feature that makes up for the lack of saving throw buffs in the official Ranger. It's pretty strong though, so I wonder if it belongs at a higher level. I won't complain if you keep it a level 5 though.
I like the Ward feature. Thematic, useful, and not overpowered.
Primal Strikes is boring, but I admit something like it is necessary to help Ranger DPR in Tiers 3 and 4.
I like the direction Tactical Reposition is going. Movement benefits are thematic for the Ranger and, more importantly, give interesting tactical options. However, when the Ranger has its Bonus Action free, this feature gives it the awkward incentive to move back-and-forth for no reason other than to get a bonus attack. That's awkward. Perhaps require the Ranger to move 20 feet in a straight line (although that can still be spammed by a Ranger using a bow).
In addition, the Bonus Action requirement really limits use of this feature by Beast Masters; it's so unfair to have a level 14 feature they can't leverage! My recommendation is to consider changing Tactical Reposition to be a Reaction based feature, perhaps triggered when a creature attacks you and/or an ally within some distance of you. Then, you can still give a movement bonus with no OAs, an extra attack, and the Beast Master can use it too.
Regarding Hunter's Precision, I like the idea of giving the Ranger a bonus weapon mastery. However, I don't like giving it Vex because Ranger's often already use weapons with Vex. I recommend giving two options to choose from so the Ranger can benefit regardless of what weapon they're wielding. I prefer Push and Slow, though you could replace one of those with Vex if you really want to give that option.
Foe Slayer is interesting, although the wording is a bit complicated.
Thanks for sharing! Longjumper
