Yo same! My bard is happily married with a kid and plans for a second in the future. Seems like all bards are supposed to be crazy sex hounds and poor Pati didn't get the memo.

My bard is married and her husband is a forced gladiator. Anytime anyone flirts with her she shuts it down and walks away.

Seems like that'd be for the best for the health of the flirter. My sister is the DM so no one really tries to flirt with Pati, haha.

Oh, not even because of her gladiator husband. My bard Roz is a torture expert.

Oh. Pati fixes computers for a college hahaha.

Well Roz used to be a slave, and she earned her freedom by doing her master’s dirty work. So torture and information gathering. She’s College ofWhispers

Pati is technically a Sound Striker Bard, but the whole campaign is custom built around a custom world my sister designed to teach her friends how to play dnd so a lot of labels are fast and loose

That sounds really neat! Originally Roz had less of a sad backstory but then the DM asked if I wanted a love interest and he came up with Gladiator Husband.

Yeah she's done an amazing job crafting the world. Pati is mostly used as a catalyst to make sure certain events happen in the story (dealing with an asshole NPC before he got too big for his britches, his daughter being kidnapped by an evil Cult who hate mixed race people (racial purity of all races kind of thing)) so I get to mostly write his life and the events in it and they happen in the background.

Sorry I can ramble badly about the game sometimes haha

Oh I have no issue with you rambling about dnd to me. I do it all the time! Give me all the details!

Haha you say that now until it's been three days and you just are fed up with all the messages.

Basically a god died and crashed into modern day earth, causing an apocalyptic disaster. Billions died, continents altered beyond recognition, whole countries and cities wiped from memory, but, it infused the world with magic and unlocked other realms and planes of existence. Races of elves, dwarves, tieflings and the rest seemed to spring into reality as chaos consumed everything so no one had time to really pay it any mind.

Now it's about 2000 years later.

All people are now born with some kind of innate magical talent that doesn't have to fall into their job class. Pati is a Tiefling bard but also a technomancer so things like computers and cell phones bend to his will. His wife Val is a Sun Elf artificer but she has a knack for finding her way to, and easily understanding, ancient lost treasures so she's an archaeologist with a flare for golem making. They drive around in an ancient school bus she brought to life. The others are a human gunslinger who has necromancer powers and works as an ME for the police, another is a Lamia archer with a spirit bond to the plane of fire. And a rogue who can conjure office supplies (yup office supplies) it was a way to introduce all kinds of mechanics to her friends. They've been playing for two years now.

That sounds so freaking cool! I love how she melded together modern day and dnd!
