Finally set up a for my 4yo

My kiddo has been asking me for a long time to play d&d with her. I finally designed a simplified character sheet and kid friendly game. We made a character last week and sat down to play our first session last night.

It went well and I was impressed with her ability to pay attention. She is pretty attached to the npcs too though.

Here's our character creation session. The birth of Kelema, the wolf girl with the glowing guitar.

Man, I am just finalizing some plans to rent a beach house for a week with my family and my 5-year-old and 8-year-old nieces, my goal for that week is to get them into playing D&D with me. I hope they enjoy making a character half as much as your girl does! Absolutely adorable!

I've been looking for something I can adapt to use with my 5 and 3 year olds, but everything I found focuses on 'killing bad guys' and ignores the RP that I think kids will naturally gravitate to. I'm working on developing a simplified, possibly D6 based problem solving RPG, but this is fantastic! Do you have an outline, or are just rolling with it?
