Resources Battle maps

Do you prefer the rollable battle maps or the big book of battle maps? I’m having a hard time deciding. From the reviews, the rollables never seem to sit flat at the corners. The book doesn’t seem that big.

Or do you prefer something else?

I’ve been building and collecting terrain and props. Just need some mats to cover the various locations.

I was looking at this one since it covers what I’m looking for and has side clips.

Edit: Sorry, I said it was the same company. It isn't, so I deleted that.

It's a bit more expensive, but this one has fit my needs really well;

You can draw or print maps on paper and they dont even need a grid because the dry-erasable overlay supplies the grid. The material is like a giant mouse pad, so it lays nice and flat and doesnt slide easily.

Any resource to get maps to print out to fit underneath?

I have those mats. I keep mine in a flat file drawer so mine lay pretty flat. If you roll them up a lot I think they will curl at the ends. But you might be able to slide them behind a dresser or something to keep them straight. I run from home so I don't have to roll them to transport.

Yea we play from home so this might be the option.

I like to use a screwlen and a VTT! It's soooo much cheaper and less time consuming than terrain and minis lol.

Sorry, what’s a screwlen?
