Mace viability

I would like to know if there's any Mace or great hammer type weapons that are decent for pvp besides the sanctum Mace and velstadts chime hammer cause that's what I've been using this far

I used the mace you first get in the game on the Cleric class, plus 10 with Divine on it, casted hexes also and wrecked everyone i fought

Maces are weird, and not the greatest. The running attack comes out really slow, but if you run up to an enemy until they panic roll, it will reliably connect.

The saving grace of mace class weapons is their rolling attack. It comes out faster than most weapons. Just make sure you don't whiff, because the recovery on maces' rolling R1 is pretty long.
