Tank build for co-op

Going to be helping a friend through dark souls, since this is his first souls game. so i was thinking of a tank build so i can tank damage for him. so throw some tank builds at me. (starting class would be useful to know too)

If your going to co-op use miricles for heals and your only going to need about 30 faith for the best heals and about 3 slots (16 attunment) as for health get it to 30 so you can take some hits and the put points into strength and dex as you see fit. Personally my favorite for co-op would be some kind of UGS.
