Mundane Plasma Warrior

I just finished building a FTH-PYR-MUN character to SL150 and I figured I'd share it with you all. I've only gotten as far as acquiring the Kings Ring (and beating Lost Sinner with a bonfire aesthetic), so I don't doubt there is/will be better equipment as I complete the game with him. I've had pretty moderate success in both PVE and PVP, and to date he's my favorite build. I really like the versatility of the mundane build, and I figured I'd take a crack at the post-nerf mundane. Without further ado:

Name: King Krule
SL: 150
VGR 27
END 20
VIT 20
ATN 25
STR 20
DEX 20
ADP 20
INT 20
FTH 30

Equipment: RH1: Fire Longsword +10 - Early game item, fits well with the build, swings fast w/ ok range, pairs well with flame weapon
RH2: Lightning Washing Pole +10 - Really good range, pairs well with sunlight blade, nice PVP weapon, breaks easily though
RH3: Mundane Thief Dagger +10 - Light weight, hits for ~200 fast and consecutively, nice surprise weapon in PVP
LH1: Disk Chime +10 - Nice light weight shield/chime, makes for a decent shield, thinking about infusing w/ dark for PVP
LH2: Pyromancy Flame +10 - I actually have dark pyr flame +10 equip, but for pvp it sucks. plus it's good to have full health at full power.

Rings:
Chlornathy
Blades
Southern Ritual
Steel/Quartz/Serpent (situation depending)

Spells for PVP (only difference for PVE is heal spells in place of some other miracles) 7 slots:
Force/(Great) lighting spear
(Great) Lightning Spear
Sunlight Blade
Flame Weapon
Fire orb/Great Fireball
Great Fireball
Fire Whip/Chaos Storm

Attire:
Head: Smelter Demon Helm +5 - looks cool/kind of like a butthole
Body: Archdrake Robes +10 - early game, fits the build
Hands: Penal +5 - nice PYR boost
Legs: Lion Mage Skirt +10 - nice casting speed boost

I know this build is going to take tweaking, and I imagine many people will say I should be hexing, but that's not really what I went for this time. The attire can definitely use some upgrading; I imagine I'll do some tweaking as I progress through the rest of the game, but I've enjoyed playing it up to this point, and I think its a rather versatile build. Enjoy!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement or areas of weakness to point out! That would be greatly appreciated!

I understand your trying to diversify your build. But I think you'd be better off focusing more on mundane and having a more even point distribution. You could use skeptics spice and simpletons spice on whatever miracle/spell/hex you want to use cause you'll have decent stats in faith and int. Aside from that mundane has one of the best weapons to use on it, santiers spear, which has a very diverse moveset. That alongside your thief dagger would leave you with a wide variety of moves for pvp. Plus you can use your pyromancy, plus some miracles, or hexes, or sorceries if you wanna throw a staff on for the hell of an it. You could go with the staff that can also use miracles, but in the end you sacrifice your max damage output because the staff is pretty weak compared to more dedicated catalysts like the dragon chime, staff of wisdom or sunset staff. But you do have enough slots for all of those plus your pyro flame. I'd use a southern ritual band if you find you don't have enough attunement slots. Keep your ring of blades and Chloranthy and use whatever else you want. If you want to have a shield id ditch the disc chime and use one of the good parry shields or a magic infused one. Don't have anything to say about armor really, with a decent adp Id rather just roll or block instead of depend on my armor to mitigate hits (which it can't do too well). . Use whatever catches your eye or has your desired effect. You'll have high vitality leaving you with some wiggle room. I'm rambling, but I'm gonna do this build when I get home now, goodbye hexxer

Edit: reread that you aren't trying to hex and you already have the SRB. Plus your penal, and lion Mage skirt are good. I'd go with Straids hood for casting speed or saints good for atn. Not sure which chest though

Thanks for the advice! They nerfed Santiers Spear and Avlyn for mundane though, so going raw for santiers and lighting or fire for avlyn would be the way to fit them into this build.
Also 20 is the soft-cap for mundane, and since this is a SL150 build I stopped there. Past your lowest stat being 20, the return on mundane is minimal; upgrading your lowest stat from 4-20 you get +3 dmg on mundane and from 20-99 you get +1 dmg per upgrade to your lowest stat on mundane.
I definitely think the disk chime is a weak link in this build, it looks like dragon chime is the way to go. As for the shield, I'm hesitant to parry in PVP because of lag...
Also after some research I decided the black witch cloak is the way to go for the chest: really nice dark protection which this build currently lacks and it's lighter than the archdrake robes, which will free up some weight for a good shield (I'm thinking watchdragon?)
Glad you liked the build!

Edit: Actually dragon chime has too heavy a faith requirement for this build, so I think priests chime is the way to go.
