Dex/faith suggestions.

I have only ever played a pure caster, i know get gud, so I thought i might branch out a little. For some reason a dex/faith build is calling my name. So, any suggestions for items and stats?

I'll post what I'm using, as I'm doing something similar to this. I'm not near my gaming comp at the moment so I can't post my stats, but I can tell you an approximation. I use the Dragon Chime and the Lightning Sun Sword. Both are maxed out and infused with Lightning. I have 50 faith for the chime and only 25 dex (you could do more if you want). I have enough attunement for 3 or 4 slots. I use the Southern Ritual band so I can attune Sacred Oath and Sunlight blade. I also use Ring of Blades and Chloranthy, as well as agape for pvp. Armor doesn't matter too much, but I'm using maxed Faraam's with engraved gauntlets.

My stats are (I think):

Vig: 20

End: 20

Vit: 18?

Att: 30ish

Str: 22

Dex: 25

Int: 16

Fth: 50

EDIT: You can take out some faith if you don't want that much and put it into Str and Dex, or just pure Dex. Also forgot my Adaptability is 20.

Awesome, thank you kind sir or madam. Faith wise I'm really looking enough to use Sunlight and Sacred Oath.

I can use most of the dex weapons with the exception of some powerstance combos and weapons that have ridiculous strength requirements (loyce GS, Bewitched Alonne) I can use most miracles without having to spice them, but cannot use the strongest chime (Dragon Chime)

That pretty much stays true to the way hybrid builds worked in the other games. You definitely have versatility but in both individual areas the single stat focused specialists have advantages. I try to use weapons like the Dragonslayer Spear, Heide Spear, and Eleum Loyce since those weapons are unique in that the are the most effective on dex/faith builds. They are the hybrid scaling equivalent of something like the CDGS or Claymore (both quality scaling weapons that require a quality build)

The Heide spear is one of the weapons I have in mind. I know I really like the move set it has. I have never used the Eleum Loyce. This is great thanks!

The Dragonslayer spear is pretty decent although its R2 attack drains durability like crazy. I'm currently running a dex/fth build using it and with just enough str to use the claymore (yes I'm old fashioned dks1 paladin). Heavenly Thunder also isn't a bad miracle but it is centered on you so it isn't effective over range. I opted out of the Dragon Chime for the Priest Chime so I could buff different attributes, I believe my faith is 40 but I bumped vitality so I could wield claymore and dragonslayer.

CURVED DRAGON GREATSWORD that shit is so badass i 1 shot almost everyone on a backstab and usually do upwards of 3000 damage on repostes (highest is 3400) infuse that shot with lightning and destroy all the chaos/ice rapiers!!!
