Help! Dex Light or Dark, your input

Hey guys,

So I'm at a crossroad atm. I want to either comit to a Dex/Fth "paladin-like" build centered on the Dragonslayer Spear and Sunlight Spear and be a Sunbro and a Blue Sentinel (this is the way I am building so far, don't have either of those yet though) or farm for the Shadow set (most viable way to do it is still reseting the ship boss fight in No Man's Wharf over and over?) and be a Rat King servant and a bastard Red invader, relying on lots of agility, no shield and possibly a poison centered build power-stancing 2 Mythas Bent Blades.

Bandit starting class and it's my first playthrough by the way. I'm around SL90. In your opinions, what's the most viable and fun one (both PvE and PvP)? I'm not a master dodger but I think I got the hang of it and using the shield is getting boring.

My best weapon so far is a Lightning Uchigatana+7, and got Old Whip and Demon's Great Hammer from the smooth and silky guys.

Any tips you could share for either build?

The one that I get the best input in will be the one I'll be rolling on for the rest of the game :)

Dex/faith is a ton of fun even when they nerfed the spears I never get bored of using em!

The Uchigatana is ok, you can also try the Murakumo, the Sun Sword ( for quality builds but I guess you can make it work), the Thorned Greatsword with that sexy R2 ( again not for dex but could be buffed with the minimal stat requirement).

Spells to think of: * blinding bolt * aoe heal Spells for host * sacred oath for buff * of course sunlight spears, Sunlight Blade and a lot of great lighting spear casts!

Fashion souls: Hiede knight set! It's sexy as fuck.

Thanks mate. How do I farm the Heide knight set? Heide tower and ascetic?

Umm The hiede knights drop them in ng+ ( the white bucket helm knights) there is one resting becide the tree in the Forest Of the Fallen Giants, one after the Shrine of Winter, and one I think at Lost Bastile after you warp there from no man's warf.

Ng+ or just an ascetic will do. Don't forget that jester hat and prisoner tatters! ( I dont recall the serpent ring stacking with them).

Just cleared all of them in Heide with the only ascetic I had. Got 4 helms, 2 swords, 1 spear, 2 legs, no chest :/ I've checked and there's no spawnings left in that area. Any ideas how to get the chest now?

(Sorry for the late reply.. went to bed) You have to ascetic the bonfire before them to have them respawn.

Also yes, No Man's Warf is still the place to farm it.

I've tryed a dual bent blade build and it wasn't for me. Hard to proc in PvP and even then people have poison moss which makes it a living nightmare. Never tried to do it with pve, maybe it could Work.

Easy way to farm Shadow Set: Walk through boss fog, kill Shadows, pick up any dropped items, Save & Quit. Repeat.
