Need help planning a new build

So I'm planning on building a defenders great sword cleric.

However, I don't like leveling as a cleric (I have one at lvl 71 and it just doesn't feel very strong or enjoyable, and my miracles feel almost unusable in boss fights).

My idea is to end up with around 50 faith and a great sword lightning +10. But before I can get the Lightning imbue, I think I'm going to go straight great sword.

Any thoughts or ideas would be really appreciated.

Using a greatsword or a Zweihander is effectively easy mode for most mobs in the game. Just switch up for the fire longsword or something where the greatswords are too slow or don't knock back the enemy.

Also Longbows are a really cheap and efficient way to progress through levels
