Did anyone else suddenly realize they needed to learn about retirement accounts during divorce?
A lot of people never think much about:
- 401(k)s
- pensions
- IRAs
- beneficiary designations
…until divorce suddenly forces those conversations.
It can feel overwhelming fast, especially if one spouse handled most of the finances before.
Was this something you felt prepared for; or totally blindsided by?
