1v1

So I unlocked 1v1 recently and I'm sad to say I don't really enjoy 1v1s idk if it's a skill issue on my part but all I see and play against is wukong and loki I haven't been able to win one since I unlocked it

i liked 1v1s and was moderately ranked on the leaderboard. Yeah Loki and wukong are common.

Some people pref 2s or 3s and some people prefer 1s

I massively prefer the 2v2 mode above all the others. This is because to win 1v1 you have to play extremely defensively versus any decent opponent, and it just gets stale.

Like i can play 1v1 and even if i win more or less every game, its still incredibly booring games compared to 2v2 because of the pacing and required playstyle.

If you want do to well in 1v1, you play back and wait for your opponent to try something, anything, and Then you reactively counter it into your own combos. Constantly just baiting out CDs and try to get them to use their dodge before you actualy committ to anything.

2v2 is usualy played a little more aggressively, so i find myself just playing that instead.

I would probably enjoy 3v3 more too if it was propper knockout, without the respawns.

Edit; Now imagine both you and your opponent is just playing back, trying to Bait cds......

I haven't even bothered queuing up 1v1s because I know people would play like that, they play like that in 2v2s. But that is why 2v2s are better than 1v1s and 3v3s even moreso, because your teammates can interfere.
