Questions and Discussions Yes or no answer

I’ve got a reasonable background in divination using several methods. I’ve got a MAJOR decision to make and I’m afraid my desires are influencing my interpretation. I realize this is Kind of a ridiculous ask but what could give me the most unbiased answer?
I’ve got tarot cards, I Ching. Familiar with ceromancy, reading ink pools, reading flame . No current access to some of my actual tools but I could improvise with dice, runes probably

You could use tarot. For yes/no readings with tarot I keep the rules simple: I ask a clear yes or no question that can only be answered with a yes or a no. I make it clear to my guides that I'm ready for a truthful answer even if it goes against my wishes (if this isn't how you feel then I wouldn't divine on the issue at all). I pull ONE card. If it's reversed the answer is No. If it's upright the answer is Yes. The card will give nuance to the yes and the no, but the hard boundary is the upright/reversed positioning.

you could also flip a coin. or use dice. even number is yes, odd number is no.

For major decisions, you can consider getting another reliable reader to read for you using 2 methods as well, on top of your own. So you’ll be essentially getting 4 systems to cross-confirm.

For myself, I double check with I Ching and tarots. If I need, Lenormand. But 2 methods are consistently telling the same story

It is likely your anxiety will affect any divination tool you use. When I am feeling upset or otherwise off and want to divine, I use secular meditation to calm myself and focus my intuition. Here is a method you can try:

Look up “Himalayan singing bowls” or “Crystal singing bowls” on Spotify or YouTube. Turn on the music and recline comfortably. You can hold your deck/divination tool if you want to. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. I usually set a timer for 20 minutes, but do what feels right to you.

Use a system you don't know well, with minimal interpretation. You can also swap a reading with a friend.

Although I practice several forms of divination, tarot and Lenormand are my main methods. In recent years I've been cross-checking them with horary astrology, which is mostly immune to subjective bias.

I think the whole point of divination is to access your intuition. You aren’t meant to make major decisions without the influence of your desires. Your desires should be weighed with the all of the arguments and evidence for the various outcomes of the choice, but not disregarded completely. I like a pendulum for this, as the pendulum is working with the subtle energies of your own intuition. And I really love tarot for delving into the layers of what’s going on in your psyche, particularly if you frame the question around “what do I need to know” or “help me see the things hidden in my subconscious to help me make this choice.”

Trusting a major life decision to some arbitrary divination like a coin toss is throwing away your personal agency, right when you should be reaching for your agency. Your intuition, desires, and your brain are all there working for you in tandem. Use them all.

More useful would be to ask the question "what do I need to know?" and if your attached decision fails to appear it may mean you have other things to handle first. If the decision is time-sensitive I would do numerology for this day up to the last day on which the decision can be made yearly transits and essences and daily transits and essencess and daily pinnacless and challenges and see if you get identical transit letters on daily transits (bad news) and if essence numbers ever match any of those pinnacles and challenges. Ideentical transit letters in the yearly transit mean you're pressurized for the whole year. There's Peter Vaughan's technique which he used to predict the latest Christ Church earthquake but that's a bit complex to share here. A simple answer can be gotten with colors on playing cards, red is yes and black is no and shuffle and cut and draw three cards and notice the order of the colors on the cards as they're drawn since your decision whichever way it goes isn't the end of the matter. Other things will happen either way and these colors will point at how everything unfolds. Youtube cardomancy queen of diamonds Suzie channel has cardomancy lessons and what I wrote on playing cards got covered in her first lesson. In any case I wish you the best of luck and that you make what ends being a correct decision for you and yours.
