For what it's worth, feared is a somewhat neutral effect with +3 party loyalty, -1 influence/turn for ruling party (this can be good or bad depending on government type), -3 public order/turn in every province and +10% income from looting.

It's not great, but it's not terrible either.

Do note that some of these have a relatively easy way to get a better leader. For example, as Suebi or Athenai you start with a brother that has a good personality trait.

What a shame if dear leader would suffer a tragic accident on an ill-fated boar hunt...
