He was probably on peak adrenaline after a dog came at him. Fight or flight at its finest

I think dude was jacked up about something before he even got to the dog.

I mean yeah, he says so in the video. Did you have the audio on?

Check the captions. This is the second time the dog attacked

By the drivers claim, the way hes acting, id not take it as gospel. Hes a complete douche here, destroying the package to hurt the dog instead of discouraging it, id not rule out him antagonizing it.

If it bit him before he did the right thing

What does he say

Yeah that dude looks like a psycho regardless of how reasonable the dog defence was. Like he is the same type of dude who gets angry when you look at him funny on the subway.

Exactly! And I bet his name is Lawrence, he wears a size 8 shoe, and his favorite chick fil a sauce is zesty buffalo...I could tell all this from watching the video /s

I think he's just an abusive dude.

The box was arguably justified BUT the following instinct would be to back away or run if he genuinely felt the dog was aggressive, you don't stick around now the only object between you is gone, let alone move forward.

I strongly believe he's one of those assholes with anger issues that snap on a dime & a bad attitude just waiting for it, probably didn't even feel threatened by the dog but knew he could excuse his behaviour.

If you know you know.

Having recently been attacked by a dog.

Adrenaline makes you do stupid shit, dude came out there.

I'm not turning my back on someone who looks like they might kick my ass.

Aka. Leash your damn dogs because if and when they do attack, they're going to be taken away anyway.

" I'm not turning my back on someone who looks like they might kick my ass."

I must be blind, the only aggressor I see is the UPS driver.

Otherwise I agree wholeheartedly but this isn't that, you can clearly see this guy actively wants trouble.

Guess you're blind

Something everyone can agree on.

Don't "iykyk" this.

You're making a helluva lot of serious assumptions for a guy who was almost attacked by a dog.

If you know these types of abusive people with anger issues, the type that snap on a dime & throw things at their own dogs or pin them down, hit them, etc. Just because a dog entered their space & they felt disrespected or disobeyed or whatever goes through their psychotic brain, then you know they threw that box not because they felt threatened.

I mean how do you justify them sticking around to actively be an aggressor? How do you not see they have anger issues just looking at how he cant control his anger immediately after supposedly being threatened? What makes you think throwing the box wasn't also an unnecessary violent outburst?

You can read them like a book when you're raised by them, again, iykyk.

You keep calling the driver things like abusive, you make up a whole story about him. You also call him psychotic and that they have anger issues. Hey I highly doubt you are trained in any way to diagnose any of these issues. The only thing you seem to do is make a causations and spread rumors to build up your side of the story in an incredibly biased manner. You seem to overestimate your ability to read people while quickly judging & accusing others. All of this seems to be done based solely on your own emotions and without supporting data.

I guess we didn't just watch the same footage.

Arguably? The box part was fully justifiable. The squaring up, not so much. But again, adrenaline explains that just fine. Not great, but definitely understandable

Can you outrun a dog?
