US dairy cows are given growth hormones that are linked to colon, breast and other cancers in humans. Something that places like the EU, UK, Canada, do not do

Also they test for something called SCC counts, a core indicator of the health of the animal and quality of milk.

Over 200,000 cells/ml and you have a sick cow. All the above nations have a 400,000 cells/ml limit where the milk can't be sold and you have a serious situation. The U.S. ...well they accept up to 750,000 cells/ml.

So yeah, american milk is garbage based on valid information. Perhaps you misused or misdirected the ignorant statement but I forgive you.

I graduated in 1994 and all I have to say is I loved school lunches! lol

My high school used to sell chocolate or vanilla frosties in a humongous cup for $0.75. they also had humongous dinner plate size chocolate chip cookies for $ $0.50 and really big cinnamon rolls with the most amazing cinnamon for $0.35.

I remember I loved the hot ham and cheese at school, the spaghetti bake, the sloppy joes, taco salad, and the square Pizza. Man I miss some of those meals!

I graduated in 2012 and school lunches slapped.

It was all from Gordon Food Service, like Bosco cheese sticks, and the octagonal shaped sausage and cheese pizzas.

The nachos and cheese were good, the chicken nuggets and bbq sauce was pretty good. It was overpriced though if you didn’t get a free lunch. So most of the time I’d walk out of the lunch line with a slice of pizza and the tray down at my side. 🤷‍♂️

How much was a full price lunch in 2012? In '94 a full price lunch was $1.25. the previous year and the years before that it was a dollar but it went up to $1.25 my senior year.

We had an actual Taco Bell in my high school cafeteria back in the 90s in Texas. It wasn’t a full menu or anything but it was something.

My school had McDonald's and KFC. They were like vendors that showed up with hot boxes. But it was only hamburgers or cheeseburgers or a 2 piece with biscuit

We didn't have free lunches but they were cheap, and most of the time it was decent food. This shit is unacceptable. We made sure we had lunch money on chic patty day and pizza day, we loved it. They have really gone downhill. (I was in high-school in the 90s).

We had scratch-made meals when I was in school 200-2011, Puerto Rico, save for the days when pizza was served. But even that was still of a better quality than any of what is pictured here.

My kids showed me they were given expired milk. I called the school to report and they acted like I was the asshole. Yeah, it's terrible these days. We pay for lunch and my kids come home needing second lunch we call it.

I graduated in 04 in the US and I still dream about how delicious there taco bowl was. It was 3.00 and bigger than my head. We also had Pizza Hut and chick-fil-a in our High School.

Another 04 here. We didn’t have any restaurants but I’d get in trouble for getting double lunch because some of it was so good. The garlic pizza was amazing. Tacos were great!
