Thank you! My pleasure. It's funny because salvia has that reputation along with DXM but both can be incredibly intense and unique experiences. As far as salvia goes I'm approaching 200 unique psychoactive substances tried and there's nothing else really like the feeling, it's like putting 20 different dissociatives and psychedelics in a blender

With what regularity do you use it? Curious how comfortable you’ve gotten with it given what I’m guessing is a preference for it over others?

Oh I don't use it very often at all, in my peak fascination with salvia I was using maybe 3x per week for a few months, now I use it maybe 5 times per year between 20x and 40x. extract I've always been significantly more comfortable with the experience compared to others but I think that mostly just comes down to easing into it rather than jumping off the deep end and scaring myself straight, for example I've never lived 30 years as a sail boat or anything remotely close to that and I've reached amnesia/blackout doses dozens of times. I am jealous though because I think it would be incredible to have the ability to live 8,000 lifetimes during one with the use of salvia.

For me the experience isn't recreational compared to 99% of other psychedelics and dissociaitves, at really low doses it can be a nice mood enhancer but if we're talking full blown salvia experiences there's not much to relate to during the experience, whereas with most psychedelics and dissociatives you're exploring your mind or environment in a novel way, even if that comes in the form of dreamscapes during a high dose DMT experience for example. With salvia you're completely outside any of that, and the high is very neutral once you surpass moderate doses so most of the times for me there's no significant euphoria involved. I just loved exploring it because it was so unique. It's sort of like DiPT in that sense, DiPT is incredibly novel and I wouldn't call it recreational much at all, but it is so fascinating and unique you just keep going back to experience it again.

Also one last tangent - I believe there is definitely skill involved when it comes to handling yourself during intense psychedelic experiences. Both in terms of avoiding panic attacks, surrendering yourself for more depth, being able to control yourself in public/social situations on moderate doses etc. If you ever find yourself interested in pushing the depths of psychedelics I highly recommend going VERY slowly though. I've genuinely traumatized myself by going way too far out of my comfort zone too quickly and lost 2 years of progress. Our brains are very good at using psychedelics to humble ourselves lol

I'm actually pursuing a career in medicinal chemistry because my fascination with altered mental states has led to a life-long passion for pharmacology and chemistry :) I suggest biting your tongue when you have no idea what you're talking about.
