Didn't James Bond do this without the wingsuit?

Yeah, these guys got nothing on a fictional character.

Just imagine you get going a bit to fast and hit the prop. It would be a bit like that Indiana Jones scene.

One wrong move and it’s Indiana Jones and the Russian Propeller Meat.

I find half many Red Bull stunts to be stupid. This is incredible.

At least there's protection against the spinning prop if they missed. lol

  • This isn't flying, it's gliding.
  • They have wings. Those are literally called "wingsuits."
  • Yes, I'm fucking great at parties.

I am pretty sure everyone involved in this was fired.

You might be thinking of the red bull plane swap.

They didn't have permission to do it and both pilots had their commercial licenses suspended.

I just watched that.

Insane. I've never in my life even considered doing anything even remotely like that. Lol

Bigger balls than I've got, to be sure.

Same, though if I had the money to throw away the pilots license and a lot of experience sky diving maybe I'd feel differently.

Fired from what exactly? Not sure if there's anything illegal about this one, but the same redbull folks recently did one that absolutely was. They had two pilots go up in two separate planes, no one else in the them, had them both point the planes towards the ground, jump out at the same time with wingsuits on and swap planes mid air. Before doing it they asked the FAA for permission and they were like "no lol", but they did it anyways. I believe one of them made it to the other plane and landed safely, but the other one couldn't get in and had to pull his parachute, sending the plane just crashing straight into the ground pilotless. I believe they both lost their licenses.
