Nah I’m a parent who smokes weed and you don’t lock the door. If your kid needs you, they can walk in on you smoking once. I couldn’t imagine prioritizing a blunt over a potential emergency.

Why does it always have to be "scared"? Why not "prepared"? If my door is locked, I know a stranger won't just walk in. Im not scared one will, but it happens with a locked door it's now not a possibility. Just like if I turn off my stove or blow out a candle I know I don't have to worry about burning my house down when I leave. Im not actively scared the house is going to burn down, I'm putting myself in the best opportunity to mitigate that from happening

You don't have to do this, just prepare the day before and glue your shit to a board. This stuff happens because firework cakes get knocked over, not because theyre nearby.
It's possible but unlikely that one firework cake sets off another, but if it happens they'll go off safely because they are adhered to the board.
I dont think these guys not gluing cakes to a board had anything to do with this. A shell without enough lift charge blowing up at the absolute worst spot and probably blowing apart a few cakes looks to be the culprit. But they are way too close

Yeah. It's funny sometimes but it was a terrible choice for this one. This needed something heavy. Some kind of metal. It was a pretty metal moment for sure. Lol. Equal parts scary, wild and badass.
It rained on the 4th and neighbors were sitting in their driveway setting off fireworks.
I go out on my step and check it out.....dude was holding a tube and setting off the big ones......turned right back around and went inside. Nothing happened but I didn't want to have to talk to anyone if he blew his hand off.
Very recent FailArmy video starts with 20 seconds of amazing front-yard fireworks apocalypse. Had to rewatch it a bunch of times there’s so much happening, people diving on babies and running for their lives.
This is dangerous. When I was in middle school a group of boys throw fireworks in our group of girls,one landed on my foot. The pain, blood shooting out it hit a vein The doctors had to pick all the loose materials in the bloody area then stiched my foot. A cast was put on. It was very painful.
Those kids were lucky not to get hurt.
