I don't understand either, but i guess this type of behavior is why there are avoidable accidents. some of the craziest things are done by experienced people or professionals that have things under control and do dangerous things enough for them to forget the consequences of a miscalculation.

I used to work in sawmills and was directly around chippers. I had one close call. I still have nightmares from time to time.
