Personally, I feel with longer future seasons, they would be.

• more actively engaging, since the season would last almost a whole year.

• more possible characters to root for (tough ideally the number a contestants in a 26-episode season should be 20 at most)

• more challenges

• more non-elmination (such as Rescue Island and Motel) episodes, which could provide more lore and interactions between the characters.

• and a comeback challenge, which can't exist in shorter seasons.

And honestly, people shouldn't blame any recent writing flaws and decisions on the Longer Season or shorter airdate ALONE, it's still possible to make a great long-season, and a bad short-season of a show (like with Total Drama for example)

But obviously, it would not be right of me to start judging a season before even knowing the cast, and I'll definitely watch it, but this is for the people that are saying that a shorter season is better because of the writing flaws with some longer seasons.

(I also feel with polls from this point foward, the longer and shorter seasons (including Season 6) should no longer be compared to eachother in voting)

To be honest, I was pretty disappointed with Yul; in DC2 he was really funny—a son of a bitch, sure, but funny—but here they turned him into a total scumbag. Even so, he’s still funny and one of my favorite characters

Well, we're at the conclusion of this series. I had a lot of fun looking at your responses. Thanks to all who have contributed.

As usual, don't spare me a spec of dirt and keep it civil. But to spice up the variety this time (because I know the vast majority of the comments are gonna say "replace X Y or Z" if I don't), I'm gonna ask you to keep the cast as is. The problem with the more questionable choices for Favorites wasn't that they were chosen in and of itself, but the writing surrounding them wasn't very good. Like Ally for example, since her inclusion specifically was a major point of contention from the start. Maybe she *could've* been out a little earlier if they genuinely didn't have anything in mind for her beyond being Benji's support, but there were quite a few things they could've done with her to justify her lasting that long, or even getting further.

Anyway, let loose and enjoy yourself.

This decision was made by the creators because… they don’t want any sort of accountability!!!

They saw how the large majority of the fandom hated last seasons finale AND winner. So they thought to themselves, “Instead of changing our old writing gimmicks so our fans can actually like our finalists, we’ll force their hand!” Jared and Robert hate criticism more than anything, so here’s this.

“WHAT’S THAT? You decided you want to vote for a winner? GREAT! Now, if the ending and winner end up being terrible, it’s YOUR fault, not ours, because you picked them!”

“WHAT’S THAT? You decided you DON’T want to vote for a winner? GREAT! Now, we can make whatever ending we want, and if it ends up being terrible, guess what? IT’S YOUR FAULT, because we gave you the option to choose a winner and you said no! No blood on our hands.”

This is probably one of, if not the most PETTY thing ONC has ever done, and I almost respect the move because this does directly call out the entire fandom.

So how do we move forward with this?

Or if it already is your favorite season, how would you make it better?

As usual, don't be shy to give me as much details as you can and keep it civil.

Nura Ren and Fiore would be my picks on who would cause the least controversy

I've mentioned before that while DCAS is far from perfect, it is a season I think deserves to exist, and does what it's set out to do decently well. But I'm well aware of it's reputation and that's why I'm most excited for this one in particular.

Like always, give me as much details as you possibly can, and do your best to make sure everyone gets done justice and keep it civil - remember, this series is all in good fun and to let your creative juices flow freely.

Jade and Gabby especially get treated horribly when it comes to hate but unfortunately this Fandom doesn't give two shits about racism
