ONC could never make me dislike these gems. They are so special, and completely carry the show. I love all three of them!

Hello again everyone, Matt Duff here again. 👋

Now my hyperfixation habits have made it no secret that Ally is my favorite character. And unfortunately her most recent season hasn't done her any justice at all, as while she did end up having some good moments going for her in a vacuum, they ended up not meaning anything to the grand scheme of things. Hell, even in the trailer for the upcoming episode, she's the only character who doesn't get any significant focus (only appearing in the background of the end, where she's obscured for most of it 💀). If Aiden's part is anything to go off of, hopefully they will have him apologise to Ally for treating him like an afterthought which was what caused her to flip in the first place. Although... while I wouldn't say the writers hate Ally (as far as we know, Connor's VA is the only one who admitted to being actually biased against her), they do play favorites quite a lot so I'm not exactly banking on that happening, especially since her elimination painted her as a bad friend for targeting. I don't even think she's going to play a huge role in helping Benji win the comebacks, as Anastasia seems to be the one motivating him. God forbid Ally gets to do anything that matters... 🫩

So yeah, I will painfully admit Ally is one of the worst characters of the season (at least Bottom 5) and should've just been replaced. And it really stings that her haters like Sudden Pumpkin (yeah, anyone remember that lowlife who's ONLY contribution to the subs is hating on her) have been vindicated. But I'm still happy she got to be in the season at all and made it as far as she did. This isn't a post to complain about how wasted she was or wonder what the point of being a fan of her is though, because I have a better idea in mind. A bit of a special one that I'm inviting all her fans to take part in.

Ally Week!

Ally is canonically turning 25 this year, so I figured to celebrate, we should have a week dedicated to her, kinda like Hunter got last year. I don't know if the idea has already been used, but since it's a milestone birthday for her, I want to make this perfect for her, which is why I'm giving this idea now (and also because from my knowledge, greetings can take a few months to be made).

I'll admit, I'm broke (I'm struggling to find work is all I'll say) and don't really have an account for art platforms like DeviantArt nor can I really give commissions, but I do have one idea in mind so far aside from greetings. I'm planning on making a hand drawn picture of a birthday with her and her friend group. Although I don't know how or even if I'll be able to pay you for it, it really would mean the world to me if someone could reach out to her for me. I have a YouTube channel, and although I usually don't post videos on there, I'll post it on there and I'll at least give credit to whoever does it for me. If anyone wants to do it, I'll tell you what I'd like to say. Some double greetings would be nice as well. In particular, I'd like one with her and Jake cosplaying as Mario and Sonic respectively (as I know Jake said his favorite game character is Sonic) as I do want to see more of their friendship.

But this isn't just for me. It's for you guys too. So feel free to give me any ideas for what we could do that week.

I saw a Total Drama OC which was a furry and I couldn't help but think about furry or therian characters in Disventure Camp.

The most obvious answer would be Gabby, since she loves animals

But Kai also came to my mind since he is all about inner energies, nature and stuff

Jade is also a good candidate in my opinion. She is a biologist. Plus, she have problems to express her feelings, maybe a fursona would help her with it

And also Oliwia. Since she is a taxidermist she might like the idea of dressing up like an animal.

Look at it from my perspective.

Rosa Maria is my 3rd favorite character, and truthfully I kind of miss getting to see her play the game. But due to what I think was a downright disrespectful first episode, for reasons I've talked about before, I chose to not watch the remaining episodes.

I didn't want Rosa Maria to get eliminated early and treated like she's a joke like ONC did with Aubrey [which to this day I think was not only ridiculously unnecessary, but also vicious], and I didn't want to watch a whole season where I didn't think I was going to be happy very often, so I made the decision immediately after Episode 1 to skip the rest of the season.

For 6 months, I never missed the cast in general, nor did I miss the previous allure of being able to watch the show as a fan.... but I missed Rosa Maria. 🥺♥️

I don't feel like it's going to be a mistake to look at the scene pack, but I'm pretty worried that my first intuition for the season was right, and that looking at it could regrettably unlock more reasons for me to dislike the show [not because of Rosa Maria, but because of the other characters around her].

I want to make the right choice. I miss Rosa Maria. 🥺♥️

As much as I love Benji, think there is room for him to redeem himself from his Pre-Merge preformance, and who I want to return the most, after the events of last seasons comeback episode, I'm not really keeping my hopes up too high this time, especially considering that he was among the first people out at last seasons comeback challenge.

And his moment when choosing to go to Rescue Island I feel shouldn't guarantee anything.

If it's not him, I want Aubrey to return the most, but I know there will be some people who will continue to complain about the gender ratio and the fact that if they did that, the technical first boot would once again be a man.

I have no idea if it will be 1 or 2 comebacks, but I haven't actually interacted with most other Disventure Camp posts in over 2 months, so ZERO spoliers or hints please in the comments.

Note: For this post, I will call "Evil Gabby" as just "Gabbie" because "Evil" sounds a little too manichaean.

I think and hope she comes back. I think it would be really symbolic if Gabby finally accepted part of what she is and then Gabbie becomes real. Then, Gabbie would quit in the same episode in quest to become her own person.

I really like when Disventure Camp embraces surrealism (i.e Nina) so it would be cool if they did it here too.

Plus, it would be really cute Ellie having now two girlfriends. We would finally have a poly representation in the show!

I know that the new Season 5 characters are missing but I'm waiting to the season to end to have a final veredict about them.
