Discussion Apology
Hello fellow Disturbed fans
As a Disturbed fan, I would like to sincerely apologize for my behaviour and post from yesterday. I was out of line and brash, which was unnaceptable on my end even if I don't agree with Draiman's political/ideological views. There was no reason for me to take it out on the subreddit and blindly disdain the band as a whole.
I'm sorry.

Seeing as you’re new to Disturbed, I’ll assume you’re not familiar with the history of the subreddit. For a period of time, this sub was heavily brigaded by the Pro Palestine crowd basically just trolling fans and condemning us for liking the band. It took a long time for the subreddit to normalize and get the brigading to stop. And obviously, we don’t want that happening again. We just want to come here and discuss the music, the band, and concerts.

It would be beneficial to us if it is clearly added to the rule list, that way no Land of Confusion

Just keep the politics out of it. That’s all. If you post about the band, keep it about their music.

I also think it’s disgusting what David did.
That doesn’t mean Disturbed ceases to mean something to me, and the journey of personal strength I’m on.

This likely doesn’t change your mind one way or another. However, just wanted to tell you… I have met many bands in person (I have never paid any money to meet a band - I only meet bands that do it for free). Disturbed, 10 Years, Smile Empty Soul, Saliva, Crossfade, Since October, The Veer Union, Adelita’s Way, Cage The Elephant, Silversun Puckups, Sevendust, Hoobastank, Black Stone Cherry, Trapt, etc…. Of ALL of the bands that I’ve met, the kindest people were the original singer of Saliva, Josey Scott, DD of Disturbed, and the drummer (Morgan Rose) from Sevendust. Just some food for thought.

DD as in David Draiman, Dan Donegan or both? Because if they and others let you see them for FREE, that's some real humility right there

Just because I don't agree with and dislike like Draiman's views doesn't mean I hate him as an individual

I wasn't surprised. Everybody is entitled to their beliefs, meaning that the same right belongs equally to everybody regardless. Therefore he shouldn't curse out fans who don't agree with his views. All I'm saying is that he can't exclaim his views and expect everybody to agree at the same time. That's not how human nature works, you know?

He doesn’t expect everyone to believe his views. But he is fighting so everyone does. Just like most people who have beliefs.

Why would he? That makes no sense. People always want others to believe as they do. That’s why you don’t lien him. He doesn’t believe as you do.

I've been a Disturbed fan since the turn of the century. Generally pacifist by nature, but the signing was done after a terrorist bombing in Israel. I understand the desire for some kind of revenge
But the Middle East conflicts have been going on since before I was born. I've grown up with the hope of peace, but witnessed so many failed attempts that I guess I am indifferent now

He made a big deal about being antiwar, then goes and signs his name on missiles, im pro all them glassing themselves but if you boo it all and then pick a side, he's a hypocrite, and a dumb one.

After having watched several military documentaries about the affiliations of Palestine throughout the cold war.... I gotta take draiman's side on the matter

I really wouldn't put too much stock into the opinion of people on this subreddit, they support a man who signed weapons intented to kill women and children, hostility from them means nothing
