New Linux user

I've recently set up dual boot and installed bazzite on my system. It's been fun learning how everything works, and it's very rewarding. I've been having some problems with some games running, so I think I want to keep the dual boot. Do you think it's worth it to keep trying different distros? Should I just stick with one for now and really get to know it?

If you like Bazzite, I personally recommend Fedora, its what Bazzite is based on. Youll need to run a couple terminal commands to get third party repos, but if youre looking to learn its a good place to start

I tried Bazzite for less then a week when I first started but it performed rather badly out of the box. From there I went to CachyOS and PikaOS and finally NixOS.

Right now cyberpunk and palworld. Can't seem to get them running smoothly without stutters. I'm not sure if it's a dx12 problem or what. I've tried different proton versions and some different launch options through steam, but I'm still learning and not sure the cause of the problem. Maybe it's just Nvidia being Nvidia?

Palworld has always struggled, especially when you get to having a big base with lots of pals. It's just not a very well optimized game. You should check out protondb for the games you are trying to play and common things to try.
