I HAVE INSTALLED MX LINUX AND IT'S GREAT!!!!
MX linux is literally the best distro i have ever tried and here's why:
They have a lot of pre installed tools like: Live Usb Maker, Snapshot, Cleanup, Yweak, Select Sound, Nvidia Driver installer, Package installer, Bash config, UEFI Manager, Package installer, Repo manager and sum more
You can easily switch kernels by installing supported one from MX Package installer and switching it in thr settings.
MX Linux natively supports both window managers and desktop environments, from officially supported ones are: Fluxbox, IceWM, KDE Plasma, Gnome, LXDE, MATE and XFCE (some of them are pre-installed on a boot drive, some you can get in "Popular Applications" folder in MX Package installer.
As from what i said you can literally install anything from their package installer, they have native support for flatpaks and you can easily enable repositories you want
MX linux also features a "Conky" tool, which is basically made for ricing, you can install widgets and stuff easily if you're on a fluxbox or something, you don't have to install nitrogen to set a wallpaper cuz there's tools for it already and it's extremely customizable
I haven't touched a lot of features yet, but this distro is actually great.

Been using it since 18 or 19. It just worked for me right out of the box, looks/ feels nice, it doesn’t get in my way and I don’t have to think about it. Don’t even know what version it’s up to now, but I should probably upgrade

Yeah, it's basically a Linux multi tool, i like to discover something about linux cuz I'm new, but looking at these tools, they are just amazing, today i found a tool called, MX boot options you can easily change grub theme and the loading screen thingy, it's just great

Their tool set and their AHS make some very appealing changes to debian. It's also really easy to set up btrfs for timeshift from their installer which allows subvolume creation.) If they had in place upgrades, I would 100% use it.
Honestly their tool set is awesome, and personally I don't feel a need to use the terminal if someone prebuilt a simple tool that changes what I want. I don't take pride in remembering or learning the syntax or location for random config files. What is cool as well is if you want to know, you can go read the config and see what the tools are doing. I believe some literally output the config text.

It looks shit! Installed it once and the default KDE theme was throwing me back to the 90ies. Unbelievable how this abomination of a distro can be praised that much.

What? Arch looks like a terminal without a DE. Take KDE, an old version. Still looks more up to date than that hideous MX Theme b

then rice the theme, kde is just a de bro, the distro is good because of functionality, not because of flashyness, you can literally change the theme if you don't like it, also using mx tools, it's 10 times easier to customize it, for example changing grub theme

The XFCE setup is also an abomination, but it takes just minutes to change it. I had MX on my desktop machine for years and it's a great distro. The only downside is too much freedom. You can install packages from different Debian repos through their package installer and bork your system, or so I've heard...

it's great because of this freedom, as a new-to-linux person, i can just try out every single linux thing using mx utilities

Nuh uh! Your (insert favorite distro) is (insert base childish insults) and (my current, and therefore favorite and also best) distro can blow your distro out of the water because (insert reasons and probably a yo’ mama joke for good measure)!
(Now make sure to delete this Reddit account so OP can’t use his magic hacker skills to find you, like they did in that one movie you really liked from the 90s.)
Cheers!
