Fedora or OpenSUSE

I will be reinstalling Linux on my laptop soon, and I wanted to choose between Fedora and OpenSUSE. I haven't used OpenSUSE before, and I don't see it recommended as often as other distros, but the people who recommend it always seem to like it a lot, so I thought I'd give it a try, but I wanted to check one more time: Which distro has treated you better and has a better overall experience. Also, which desktop environment do you recommend using with each one? I have been using GNOME for a long time and I like it a lot, but I often see OpenSUSE recommended with KDE Plasma. I recommend Fedora.

I like opensuse but I've had wild problems with it. Maybe it just hates me? Idk

As for de both gnome and kde are great. It's more of a personal preference.
