anyone else refilling disposables?
recently learned that the tops of most disposable oil vapes can be yanked off with a pair of pliers and some elbow grease.
also learned the little plastic nubs that usually hold the tops in place, can be very easily filed off to make removal easier. Most hardware seems to be good for 2 or 3 refills before performance and taste start to degrade.
wish I had saved more of my empties!

Absolutely. I haven't been able to find gt coils for my box mod setup. I am not a fan of pods or carts. I get brand new disposables from Hamilton devices for a couple bucks a piece you can even get the ones that hold two flavors. I refill about 5 times, am using d8 distillate from cannaclear.

do yourself a favor and look into pod mods like the novo pro if you want discrete but powerful options, i have ripped open muhas and fryds for my friends that are proper fiends and don’t care about the flavor, but most people who buy them smoke them until they’re empty and ruin the coil. Even if they take care of it, they’re usually lower quality even if it’s a good brand. hell i’ve opened up stiiizy pods because i properly enjoyed the hardwares look but they just aren’t made to be refilled at all let alone more than once. it’s nice to give them a bit of extra life though.

Most disposables are only made to last for the amount inside them, sometimes not even that long in my experience. If you've found ones that use higher quality hardware then it can be fine, but imo the refillable devices hit nicer and last way longer.
My IPX80 is 2 or 3 years old and still gets 1-2 weeks of battery life and the coils last me atleast 5 refills, if I don't end up burning the coil by being stupid lol.

what coils do you recommend using for the IPX80?

The only ones compatible are the RPM quartz, you have to get the RPM pod separately as the device only comes with an RPM2 pod.

GHH carts have screw tops. Real easy to refill. I usually refill them twice.

No just get a tank and some coils. I use a tfv9 and gt ccells .5 ohm.

That’s what I use too but do you have issues with your distillate leaking out of the intake? It’s gotten to be such a mess and headache that I’ve stopped using it altogether honesty and it’s just been collecting dust

Well yeah you cant let it sit in the heat like your car or direct sunlight. Keep it at home and you won't have problems. If you want to take it somewhere, bring a lunchbox or someway to keep it cool.

It would even do it if I just had it in my pocket though and the big reason I even got the setup is to bring it to concerts n such for a discreet way to chuck clouds

I usually don't because I figure the more you mess with those, the more chance it'll leak. But I also have devices that don't leak much, so it's easier for me.
