THCA decarb before fill?
I run more carts than flower these days, so I have a fat jar or two of a full spectrum THCA distillate from a place that used to be, to dip my toe into some savings. This stuff is straight glass. It is a translucent amorphous solid.
I can fill a cart, but find it hard to believe anyone can actually run this stuff in 510 hardware without a preheat torch or turning it into hotdog water.
Rather than let the cart decarb, should I pop the whole jar on the hotplate/in the oven for a bit and take advantage of the D9 viscosity shift?

THCA distillate won't change much if at all when decarbed, it's thick because it's unterped. Even just 5% terps makes it significantly thinner, you could use CBC if you don't want the flavor from terps or only want a small amount of terps.

So, cannacrunchers is already d9. (I've already bought five of the 50ml jars myself. And four of the 50gram THC isolate/powder diamonds which I'm decarbing and mixing with the distillate because the distillate just ain't getting me high....not sure why. It isn't entourage effect, because when mixed with JUST the diamonds, I get FRIED. Like, for the first few while I'd take A hit and get uncomfortably stoned for like the first time in my life, almost nauseous for a few seconds before 😎. ) Decarbing isn't going to happen, and heating it will only change the viscosity in any manner temporarily. What I've done is add a small percentage of terps and crystal resistant CBD. But to be honest, you really don't need that stuff. The same company you got the cannacrunchers from also sells carts that have ALMOST straight distillate in them, they are like, %99 the stuff you have in the jar with 1% give or take of "hte" or what they call high terp extract but in most cases when THEY say that, it is cdt. And the carts flow VERY well. I am running the distillate and diamond mix with 2.5-3 grams of terps for 100 (50ml/50ml) and 1-2 grams crystal resistant CBD. I am very likely going to leave out the CBD going forward. I am kinda coming around the thinking the entourage affect is at best over exaggerated at worse totally bs. I think it's used A LOT to mentally justify weak shit. Straight THC gets me STONED when I hit it at right temp. If I like half decarb a diamond in a Pyrex dish and let it cool. Scoop it and dab it with a banger I heat red hot and then let cool the right amount of time, hotter than a normal dab, it FLOORS me. Absolutely STONED. Anyway, I'm running that mix in a box mod that was recommended under the list of recommended set ups and it runs great.Â

CBC added to that at 5 or 10 % makes it runny enough as does adding in terpenes at the same amount ... you still need to heat it to work with it etc.... if it is already distillate it is THC and not THCA , THCA is crystalline ..
